Indian legislator expresses condolences to quake victims in Yunnan, China

An Indian parliamentarian Monday expressed his condolences to the victims of the earthquake which struck Yunnan Province in southwest China on Sunday."We are sad and shocked to learn about the tragedy in Yunnan province, which has claimed lives of more than 400 so far," Tarun Vijay, member of Upper House of Parliament of India, said in an e- mail message to Xinhua."I send my deep condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the early recovery of the injured."In this context Indian people share the grief of their Chinese friends in this hour of difficulty," said Vijay, who is also member of India-China Friendship Parliamentary Group and a spokesman of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
