I have never been a fan of graffiti and I cannot understand why people spend their spare time ruining buildings and other structures with poor attempts at art. However, I was on the train to work the other day and I noticed a piece of graffiti that I thought was actually quite good. The level of detail in the painting was quite astonishing and I thought that it would have been more at home in one of London's art galleries rather than on the streets of London. The name below the painting was MGTF 135 which I assume was a well known graffiti-artist. When I got home I began to rethink my attitude towards graffiti and started looking on the internet for the artist that called himself MGTF 135. I discovered that MGTF 135 was a well-known graffiti artist and had painted a range of paintings across London. I marked down the locations on satellite navigation on my phone and the next day I began my journey to the first piece of art ever made by MGTF 135 in London. I have managed to view nearly all of the graffiti by MGTF 135 in London but there are a few more pieces that I would like to see. I have seen the pictures of them on the internet but I think it will be better to see them in person. I have now completely reversed my opinion of graffiti and I can now appreciate it for what it is. London is the canvas for artists who have no access to the tight knight art community and I think that it is a positive thing that allows people to express themselves.
