StackTeck recently bought a large plate machining line, which has grinding capacity of 1-meter-by-2-meters. The company added a Netstal Elion 4200 for mold testing. “In our manufacturing facility, we have doubled our hard milling capacity in the last three years, and we have high-speed specialized machines that are capable of reaching up to 42,000 rpm spindle speed,” said Lou Dimaulo, StackTech’s vice president. StackTeck also added a weekend shift, to avoid increasing lead times even while order intake has been climbing. Tel. 416-749-1698; email stackteck@stackteck.com. Tags:
