Larry Walck, Mack Molding Inc.'s director of business development, died early Jan. 11 from injuries suffered in a toboggan accident at Stratton Mountain Resort in Stratton, Vt.

He was 45.

"Larry was a wonderful friend and tremendous co-worker to all of us at Mack," said Jeff Somple, president of Mack's northern operations, in a news release.

"He was a driving force behind our growth over the years and will be sorely missed. Our condolences go out to his lovely wife Jennifer and his children Christian and Justina. On a personal level, Larry was close friend. On a business level, Mack has lost one of its best. Please join us in keeping Larry and his family in your thoughts and prayers."

Walck, was an Alexandria Township, N.J., resident who was in Vermont to participate in a men's hockey tournament. He was an avid hockey fan and player and played regularly in a men's league in New Jersey. He also volunteered for youth sports, coaching baseball and softball. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Alexandria Township Parks and Recreation Committee.

Walck joined Mack in 2000 as a new business development manager. He was promoted to director in 2006. He previously was national sales manager for Polycel Structural Foam Plastics Inc. in Somerville, N.J.

He was a graduate of Raritan Valley College in Somerset, N.J., having completed graduate coursework in marketing and business administration.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Jan. 17 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Annadale, N.J. Calling hours will be held Jan. 16 at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington, N.J.
