Mazda Winchester fully supports the Mazda Save It scheme which offers Mazda motorists a significant reduction in repair costs to vehicles that have been in an accident and are close to being written off by insurers. Mazda firmly believes that if a vehicle can be repaired then it should be, and to this end the Mazda Save It programme involves the owners of damaged but still repairable cars (commonly known as Category D vehicles) being contacted by MAARC (Mazda Approved Accident Repair Centre) to advise drivers that they may qualify for the Save It scheme. The MAARC will then estimate the cost of repair against the value of the vehicle so that the dealership can apply to Mazda direct for the discount required in order to save the vehicle from being scrapped.
If the car is deemed to be worth saving then the percentage of discount for both parts and labour will be negotiated with MAARC for the ultimate benefit of the customer. Once this process is completed the customer has to decide whether to have the car repaired or scrapped. If a decision is taken to repair the vehicle then the driver is entitled to the use of a courtesy car for the duration of the repair process. As well as saving the car, the Save It scheme significantly reduces carbon footprint.
