New BMW M Bike

If like me you thought BMW only produce cars then you were wrong, BMW also produce bikes. Unlike your typical new BMX bike, BMW bikes are made for racing and endurance racing. There is a new racing bike from BMW, called the BMW M Bike Carbon Racer. BMW boast that with its 60 years of experience with bicycle manufacturing, the BMW M Bike Carbon Racer comes with high levels of comfort and design. I find it quite amazing that the power, dynamics and performance we usually associate with a BMW M series car is now available on a two wheel bike. As you would expect the BMW M Series Carbon Racer features high tech materials and components feature alongside a distinctive frame in an anthracite carbon look, with coloured accents on the rims, handlebar grips and saddle inlay in BMW M series red. The carbon constructed frame is corrosion free, stiff and lightweight whilst still being able to absorb shocks and provide a comfortable ride for the rider. No elements are mass produced, and the frames are developed by BMW themselves. Shimano Ultegra brakes and gear levers allow the rider to change gears quickly and the lightweight design allows for quick braking. These two elements allow greater manoeuvrability and agility. The BMW M Bike Carbon Racer will be available from BMW dealers from July 2011. There have been no pricings revealed for the new BMW M Series Carbon Racer, no doubt like all good racing bikes this will not be cheap!
