MG6London

I have recently got into graffiti and have started to embrace the graffiti art community that paint the streets of London of an evening. One of my favourite graffiti artists is MG6. There are only a few pieces of graffiti that were made by MG6 In London, but they are quite exceptional.

I was walking to work a few weeks ago when I strolled past a cool looking piece of graffiti. There were a group of people standing round taking photographs and I wondered what all of the fuss was about. The art itself was quite impressive but it is only when I saw the name MG6 that I became slightly more interested. I had no idea that graffiti artists actually tagged their work in such a way and thought that it could easily be traced back to someone. I used the internet to research MG6 and found a few more pieces of graffiti that he had painted in London. It turned out that MG6 was an anonymous graffiti artist and this explained why he was able to tag his work without fear of punishment. As I read more about MG6 I was surprised to read that he often held exhibitions of his work where he would pose as a visitor in order to hide his identity. I found the idea of this pretty exciting and looked for when the next exhibition would take place in London.

I went to the exhibition and tried to work out which person he was posing as but I was unable to decide. He may not have even been there but I suspect that he was. There was also a heavy police presence for obvious reasons.
