Letting Go Of The Past

Letting Go Of The Past

Letting Go Of The Past

My wife has been nagging me to get rid of our used Hyundai for a few weeks now but I?m just not ready to let go of my first car. I bought the car after I passed my driving test almost 20 years ago, we been through so many breakdowns and accidents together.

It?s not just my wife but my daughter as well; she finds it embarrassing when I drop her to college in my car, the same car that brought her home from the hospital after she was born and the car she is currently taking her driving lessons with.

To keep them quite I said the only way I?ll give up my car is if they can find a car that will make me change it straight away. As soon as I said that I started regretting it as I had no intention of selling my car. That night I stared searching on the internet for all new cars coming out soon, and hoping that I don?t like any of them.

Unlucky for me, there was a car that I really like, and it was perfect in every way. The car comes with all the equipment that I want in a car, it looks good and it?s very reasonably priced. I am praying that my wife and daughter don?t come across the car when they start their search.

Even though I don?t want to change my car, seeing the new car ahs got me thinking that maybe it is time for a change and let go of old memories to start new ones.
