Swedish car maker Volvo has been producing the XC60 since 2008; it is a compact crossover that competes with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. The XC60 is part of Volvo?s XC range of models which currently also has the bigger XC90. Volvo has joined the revolutionary SUV trend and designed this premium model to capture a new type of audience which differ from its traditional target market. In 2009 the XC60 was Volvo?s best selling model. For the UK market the XC60 comes with a choice of diesel engines and one petrol unit.
