Corruption fight hottest issue in June: survey

BEIJING - The Communist Party's of China's (CPC) anti-corruption blitz was among the hottest issues in China in June, according to survey results released by the China Youth Daily on Wednesday. Of the top 20 issues ranked by the newspaper's "public opinion index," seven are related to the fall of senior officials. The expulsion from the Party of former military official Xu Caihou ranked second, followed by the investigation of Su Rong, former vice chairman of China's top political advisory body.
